Creating inspiring, enlightened, and intellectually rigorous students, Streatham & Clapham High School is an exceptional learning community for girls in London.
THE BRIEF
A school that places pupil happiness at the heart of its success.
Streatham & Clapham School needed a library space that students could immerse themselves in. A space to enjoy reading.
Combining oak veneer finishes with curved features and soft, comfortable furnishings, the library transformed into a space where students wanted to spend time. A space that sparked creativity and became a source of inspiration.
Minimal disruption to learning
Producing the majority of the construction at the Staffordshire HQ to be transported, the installation was quick and smooth, taking place when the school was closed to ensure minimal disruption to the students' learning.
A bright and inviting space
Using welcoming colours that were aligned with the brand, wooden slats to allow light to flow through whilst creating cosy nooks, and bespoke, comfortable seating, the space became a place where people wanted to learn.
THE EXPERIENCE
Working closely to bring the school’s vision to life.
We meticulously selected materials, textures, and finishes that would stand the test of time, creating an environment that made reading desirable for the students. Fun without being childish, the students all embraced the new space.
An iconic London pub from Michelin star, celebrity chef Tom Kerridge. The Butchers Tap in Chelsea is just behind the famous King’s Road, a community hub for locals and tourists to dive into delicious food and drinks.
